This weekend my sister found a ticket in her 16 year old daughters car. It was from October and it stated she was going 98 in a 65. Can you believe that? Ninety-eight, ninety plus eight, 98 miles per hour. Apparently my niece called the court twice and got an extension to pay. I don't know if she was ever going to tell her mom. She received the same punishment as my son ... her car was taken away. My sister took an extra step and made her cut up her driver's license.
I notice that many teenagers drive recklessly. They text, talk, blare music, put on makeup, eat food, and who knows what else while driving. I don't think they will care about my "Baby on Board" sign and that scares me.
Whenever I see this mayhem commercial from Allstate, I always think of my son. Now I will think of my niece too.

Oh yes! teen age drivers....I have fianlly realized that no matter how smart, how educated, how experienced they think they are ...they will still be teenage drivers. We went through 8 cars in 5 years.....
